In the midst of a bucolic 80,000 square meter plot, Vila Santa Teresa (VST) has a motto: here guests are treated like friends. Built in the 70s, the house is located on a private property in the heart of Santa Teresa, one of the most charming neighborhoods in Rio, with emphasis on its ateliers, cultural options and intense bohemian life.


Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, the 4th generation of the family remodeled the house to share this exclusive place with their guests. During the renovation process, the original design of the rooms and part of the furniture was maintained to preserve its personality.

When crossing the gates of the VST, you will enter a universe of beautiful tropical gardens, full of history, from where you can see some of the main sights of the city. From here, you can enter and leave the bustle of the metropolis, experiencing a little of its culture, the beach, street art and fashion, and then return to the hotel to re-establish your balance by our pool or in the SPA, relaxing as you prepare for a stunning sunset. Location

The Santa Teresa neighborhood has a privileged location, with easy access to downtown Rio de Janeiro, Botafogo Beach, Marina da Glória and a 15-minute drive from Santos Dumont Airport. The VST is close to many of the main tourist attractions, such as Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Lapa, Ruins Park, Sélaron Staircase and cable cars. Although only 20 minutes by car from the tourist bustle of Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, it is possible to feel the privacy and tranquility of an urban retreat.
